Spiritual behavior coaching with Garrett

Live what you already believe.

You've read the books, felt the glimpses, maybe even had the experience that cracked everything open. Now comes the real work: bringing your everyday behavior into line with your spiritual ideals. I help you close the gap between belief and practice.

The gap

Halfway awake is a real place. You don't have to stay there.

Many of us know what the heart asks of us: appreciation, compassion, forgiveness, humility, understanding, valor. Knowing it and living it are two different things. The gap between them is where people get stuck, sometimes for years.

I believe that aligning your behavior with the virtues of the heart, and practicing what I call interpersonal alchemy, is the trigger that expands awareness. Not more theory. Practice.

Is this for you?

The Six Heart Virtues

Over the years I turned everything I'd lived through into a behavioral framework that supercharges spiritual growth. At its center are six practices: appreciation, compassion, forgiveness, humility, understanding, and valor. They work on every kind of energy in your life: relationships, creativity, purpose, even money, which is just another form of energy.

All of you, together

Every age of you, working in concert

I am consciously aware as all ages of myself at all times. The 5-year-old, the moody 12-year-old, the 18-year-old, the 33-year-old: they all live in here, and for a long time they were at odds.

Learning to get every part of me working together, each with its time and place, changed my life. It's a big part of the work I do with clients.
